Aussie Association of Somalia did an assessment on health situation in Somalia and the findings were horrible and worrying.
The only MCH facility that was constructed by International Medical Corps and was lastly operated by SOS children is left in a scary way after SOS were unable to manage the facility due to insecurity and claims of bribes where certain individuals wanted to extort money from the facility inorder for them to be allowed to operate.
Normalcy has been restored and Aussie Association Of Somalia is at advanced stage of breath bringing back the facility to it’s operation as soon as they get donors.
The facility once renovated will be able to serve the larger IDP camps in both Kahda and Deynile Districts in Mogadishu.
