Educational Materials Donation by AAS to Kahda School
The Aussie Association of Somalia (AAS), committed to advancing education and community support, has delivered a significant donation of educational materials to Kahda Primary, Intermediate & Secondary School in Mogadishu. This generous donation was made possible through the support of the humanitarian organization Qatar Charity, as part of an ongoing partnership to strengthen access to quality education for Somali children.
The donation included:
250 student chairs and desks, aimed at improving the classroom learning environment.
250 water bottles, to ensure students have access to clean drinking water throughout the school day.
Ahmed Mohamed Dahir, the principal of Kahda School, expressed his gratitude to both AAS and Qatar Charity for this timely support. He emphasized that the donation arrived at a time when the school was in great need of learning materials and equipment. The new supplies will contribute significantly to creating a more conducive, healthy, and supportive learning environment for the students.
