What is AAS?
Aussie Association Somalia (AAS) is an international organization whose headquarters is in Mogadishu and has its operation offices in Kismayo (Jubaland), Baidoa (Southwest), Beledwein (Hiran), Kahda district and Bosaso in Puntland.
AAS is a non-governmental organization dedicated to addressing the urgent humanitarian needs of vulnerable populations in Somalia. Established in 2017, AAS operates with a mission to alleviate suffering, promote child and adult education, build skills for self-employment, promote human dignity, and build resilience among communities affected by conflict, displacement, and natural disasters in the region.
At AAS, we believe in the fundamental principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, and independence. Our work is guided by a commitment to serving those most in need, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, or political affiliation. We strive to deliver timely and effective humanitarian assistance, focusing on areas such as emergency relief, food security, health care, education, and livelihood support.
